Welcome to HitchKey. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website.

1. Account Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features or place orders. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activities conducted through your account.

2. Product Information

We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, images, prices, specifications, and availability are accurate. However, slight variations in color, size, packaging, or design may occur due to lighting, screen settings, manufacturing updates, or handcrafted/customized products. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to update product information without prior notice.

3. Pricing & Payments

All prices displayed on our website are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments must be completed through our approved and secure payment gateways before an order is processed. In case of pricing errors or technical issues, HitchKey reserves the right to cancel or modify the order after notifying the customer.

4. Order Acceptance & Cancellation

Placing an order does not guarantee acceptance. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to:

Pricing or technical errors
Suspected fraudulent activity
Incomplete or incorrect customer information
Product unavailability
Any other legitimate business reason

If payment has already been received for a cancelled order, the applicable refund will be processed through the original payment method.

5. Shipping & Delivery

Orders are processed and shipped according to our Shipping Policy.

While we make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeline, delivery dates are estimates only and may be affected by courier delays, weather conditions, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Returns, Replacements & Refunds

Our products are quality-checked before dispatch and are non-returnable due to the nature of party décor products.

Replacement or refund requests will only be considered if the product is received:

Damaged during transit
Defective
Incorrect
Missing from the order

Claims must be reported within the timeframe mentioned in our Return Policy along with clear photographs and an unboxing video.

7. Decoration Services

For event decoration services:-

1. Booking Confirmation: Bookings will be confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed advance payment and confirmation from HitchKey Events.

2. Payment Terms: Payments must be made according to the schedule mentioned in the approved quotation or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, the outstanding amount must be paid before the event or commencement of the service.

3. Cancellation & Refunds: Any cancellation must be communicated in writing. Advance payments will be adjusted against planning, preparation, materials purchased, vendor bookings, and other costs or commitments incurred. Any eligible refund will be calculated after deducting applicable costs and charges already incurred. Payments for services already delivered, customized items, and non-refundable vendor bookings are not refundable. Eligible refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after confirmation of the cancellation and calculation of applicable deductions.

4. Scope of Services: Services will be delivered as per the approved quotation. Any additional requirements or changes beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges, which will be communicated to the client for approval.

5. Designs & Arrangements: Event decorations, layouts, colors, flowers, props, and other arrangements will follow the approved design or reference, subject to availability and practical setup requirements. Minor variations may occur due to material availability or setup conditions.

6. Venue Access & Permissions: The client must ensure timely venue access and obtain necessary permissions for setup and execution, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Delays or restrictions at the venue may affect setup or service delivery.

7. Client Responsibilities: The client must provide accurate event details, including the date, time, venue, and specific requirements, and promptly communicate any changes in advance.

8. Delays & Unforeseen Circumstances: HitchKey Events will make reasonable efforts to deliver services as agreed. Delays or changes caused by venue restrictions, supplier issues, weather, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control will be communicated to the client, and suitable alternatives will be discussed where necessary.

9. Damage & Loss: The client may be held responsible for damage to or loss of rented props, equipment, or décor items caused by the client or their guests, subject to assessment and applicable charges.

10. Taxes: GST and other applicable taxes will be charged as per prevailing law and shown on the invoice where applicable.

11. TDS Deduction: Where TDS is applicable, the client must deduct and deposit it in accordance with applicable law and provide the relevant TDS certificate within the prescribed timelines.

12. Delayed Payments: Any delay in payment may affect service delivery, setup schedules, or booking commitments. Any resulting impact will be communicated to the client.

13. Postponement & Rescheduling: Any request to postpone or reschedule an event must be communicated in writing and is subject to availability and written confirmation from HitchKey Events. Additional costs arising from revised dates, vendor commitments, materials, or arrangements may be charged to the client with prior communication. Payments already made will be adjusted against the rescheduled event, subject to costs and commitments already incurred. If the revised date cannot be accommodated, the cancellation and refund terms will apply.

14. Acceptance of Terms: Approval of the quotation, payment of the advance, or written booking confirmation constitutes acceptance of the agreed scope of services, payment schedule, and these Terms & Conditions.

15. Changes to These Terms: HitchKey Events reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms will apply to future bookings. Any changes affecting an already confirmed booking will be communicated to the client and will be subject to mutual agreement, where applicable.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, including logos, trademarks, product images, graphics, text, videos, designs, and other materials, is the exclusive property of HitchKey and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, or used without our prior written permission.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the website for unlawful purposes.
Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
Upload malicious software or harmful content.
Interfere with the operation or security of the website.
Misuse customer reviews or communication channels.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described therein.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HitchKey shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website, products, or services.

Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the relevant order.

12. Force Majeure

HitchKey shall not be held responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, transportation disruptions, government restrictions, or technical failures.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

HitchKey reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

The latest version published on our website shall supersede all previous versions.
